    I actually like this organ spec - it looks rather intriguing. I'm not surprised to see Jean Guillou's name mentioned...




    I don't think a 32' Soubasse is out of place on a small instrument, as long as



    • the 32'is not too loud

    • there are sufficient manual ranks, including 16' manual tone

    • the church has a sympathetic acoustical environment

      ThePedalBombarde 16' (as well as all the other Pedal reeds) show that this division is fairly substantial, so a stopped 32' does not seem out of place at all.




      I'm surprised to see only a three rank mixture - since it is a Cymbale it may be very high pitched. I also notice the 8' Montre is prepared. Odd... I would have started with that rank.[^o)]

      It has a Nightingale, too (Rossignol). (We have one of those.)
