I can't spend $3,500.00 or so on a switching system, so who makes the cheapest multi or diode system for a small pipe organ?

Sonic Creations & Devtronix make diode systems as kits. Last I looked they were about $30 to $40 per pitch. They also offer motherboards. For pipe organs, you'll also need driver boards, so all totaled it isn't really cheap, but I don't know of a cheaper way to go for new equipment.

Look at the Church organ trader board: there are some Reisner switches available at half-price of new, and they seller will wire them for you.
It's an option.

$800 controller
$500 various input boards for a 2 man.
$250-$350 rank output drivers.
Easily user changeable and includes midi in/out.
