It is indeed sad to see a nice organ in such a predicament. I'm figuring that someone will get it out of there before the building gets wrecked. But that depends on the owners willingness to accommodate an organ removal job. I've also heard of a couple here in WI that went down with the building because the owners thought it was worth a lot of money, and no one else agreed, so rather than giving it away, they destroyed it.

The mechanic part of me really likes the look and idea of an actual gauge for the Crescendo ! I've never seen that before.
      Regards, Larry

This really is a nice organ. It has the basics and would be a nice instrument for a church that wanted a small pipe organ.

If there are no takers for the entire instrument, at the very least, someone should claim the pipes. The 3 manual console would be a great Hauptwerk conversion project for someone.

That is a nice-sounding organ, and from a really wonderful era of Casavant that's often overlooked in favor of their later instruments. The problem is, no "free" pipe organ, even a nice one in good condition, is even close to "free" once you try to move it and re-install it, let alone address any issues.
