Has anyone heard of the Giorgio Questa portative organ?
Hi!
Merry Christmas everyone! A concert pianist friend has been telling us wonderful after-dinner stories about the intriguing portative organ built by Giorgio Questa.
It was a special design specifically for transportation in units to take to venues otherwise without an instrument. Apparently he took a couple of years to build it obsessively and sadly lost his wife as a result. Stories abound about where he didn't take it and I'm wondering if anyone has come across it before in the English speaking world?
