  • Where did that 15 year old go? Well, here is the low down on me, Brandon Tuomikoski

Some of the good friends here probably have been asking where Brandon Tuomikoski went. Well I am here- well sort of. Not really.

The first several months of me being here I was the 2nd and 3rd most active user. Now I am not anywhere on the active user list.

Its been almost 1 year since I have taken lessons.

When my rodgers organ worked, I did try to play it at least once a week.

I seem to be falling out of the organ world. I still want to go to college for the organ, but I do not think I will reach that goal.

So there you have it. Im here, but gone. Maybe some day, my parents will see what my dream is, and try to do something.

    Who knows.

Hey Brandon, I know it can seem discouraging not to be able to play the organ, but quite frankly, you may not be ready yet. If you want to go to college for organ, your going to have to take piano sooner or later, so you might as well build your piano skills and you will be a better organist in the end. I know its boring but like I said, you can't go into college for organ without talking piano lessons at some time.

        Philip,

Got the "very unfortunate" part, but . . . pretty dang what?

I am taking piano lessons, and have been for 9 years.

But I hardly know how to play the pedals in a piece. How do I get into a college for organ, if I can not even play 1/2 of it.

            John,

Schäde-bad. So, Very bad. Traurig means difficult, troublesome, burdensome. Thus traurigheit would intensify that. Drangsaftlich may be a typo-perhaps it should be drängsaft or drangsäft or something else. [:S] What I meant to signify was Tribulation.

              Philip,

Very fitting description of our friend's situation! Thanks for the little German lesson. Wish I knew more about that very colorful language.
