• Austin Tibia Clausa

Recently purchased a 61 note rank of an Austin Tibia Clausa dated 1907. This would predate "theatre" organs by a few years, but is within three years of whenRobert Hope-Jones (who invented the Tibia Clausa) worked for Austin. Does anyone know anything else about Austin Tibias? It would appear that the upper lips were leathered at some time and then "un-leathered" sometimlater.

I have no indication as to theoriginal organfrom which this rank was removed. I purchased the rank in Little Rock.I am especially curious about the proper wind pressure, Has anyone ever experianced an Austin Tibia?
