I'm actually enjoying both of his books. He goes into amazing detail on the mechanics with illustrations. It really gives me an appreciation for the complexity of these machines and what had to be done to achieve a unit orchestra.

  • "At the Mighty Organ" by Geoffrey Wyatt - A Good read

A few months ago someone here mentioned the book, “At the mighty Organ“ by Geoffrey Wyatt.

I found the book online at ABE books in the UK and ordered it. I’ve just finished reading it and found it highly enjoyable to get a background on the development and progression of the theater Organ in the UK. I was unaware that the “Cinema Organ“ was as popular over there and around the world as it was in the United States.

Anyway, if you come across this book I think you’ll enjoy it. I learned a lot and think it’s worth the read.
