Hi All,
Does anyone know of someone who does harmonium repair in the Hudson Valley area of New York State?
We have a four and a half stop "moveable" (not portable) old harmonium made in Albany, with an electric pump, that was used in a local theater.
We've been looking for someone to repair it for a couple years with no luck.
(I did search this forum as well but didn't find anything.)
It has a lot of dead notes, the 'effects' stops and both of the volume knee paddles don't work.
The vibrato still works, as do the sub and super couplers.
It is a pretty unique instrument with a cool 16' sub octave bass for the lower half of the split keyboard which still works
and is what makes us keep the instrument in hopes of getting it fixed.
Any leads or thoughts are welcome!
thanks everyone for considering my question,
omaether
