    This is the first diagram and explanation of the air system I've found. Milne's 1930 "The Reed Organ", chapter on the American Organ.

    A - reservoir
    B - reservoir spring
    C - exhaust lifter ("sometimes mis-termed feeder")
    D - middle board
    E - external spring(s)
    F - backboard hinge
    G - middle board valves
    H - lifter valves
    I - bellows board
    J - air chamber
    K - air aperture to air chamber
    L - webbing (strap) connecting treadle to exhaust lifter
    M - webbing roller
    N - back board

    Great! You found some or most of the correct terminology for the different parts. Some you may not have in any such publications might include: Screwdriver, shifting spanner, 4lb hammer (to relieve frustrations), consumable alcohol and headache tablets.... :->
