  • Estey action 98 questions

    Hi there,
Just a couple quick questions for the Estey experts...
Is the Style H Action 98 a good full sounding chapel organ? Is the Choral detuned against Diapason as well as Vox Jubilante? Is Flute set in the rear swell? And what is the width?
Also what would this model be? It is different to the 98 or 97, and somewhere is marked as action 570. https://www.reedsoc.org/index.php/ro...0254&itemID=10
    Thanks in advance!
    Joshua

Choral is tuned unison. Flute is in the front (Estey's normal pattern, Diapason is on the inside row) Case is 52" wide.

The diapason is the unison pitch, Jubilante is in this case sharp. The choral is in tune with Diapason. The 5 octave S case is 46" wide. The 6 octave would be about 10" wider.
