• Epworth Organ gal seeks reliable organ repair

    Greetings all -

I've just purchased what I believe to be an Epworth chapel 303 reed organ circa 1906 made by Williams Organ and Piano, Co, Chicago. I live in the suburbs of Chicago and am seeking a reliable and knowledgeable someone for woodwork repair around the pedals and to bring the organ back to working order. Does anyone in this area have recommendations?

    Hi Organ Gal,

I am new to the forum and have an EPWORTH which was restored last winter by Duaine Hechler at http://www.hechlerpianoandorgan.com/. HE did a great job.

Also later found this http://www.northsidemusic.com/ in Lafayette, Indiana

Do you have a serial number for your EPWORTH - and do you know the history of that line of instruments?? I would be glad to share information with you.

    Roger
