• New Forum Member with Question on Chicago Cottage Pump Organ

    Greetings,

I just picked up a Model S.98 Chicago Cottage Pump Organ, serial number 184842. From my surfing on the net, it appears this organ was built sometime between 1885 and 1899. I'd really appreciate if anyone could confirm this--and particularly, if someone could provide more specific info or point me in the right direction to find out more about this organ. Thanks!

I had already check out the Reed Organ site and the closest thing I can come up with to my model S98 is this S 96:

Still hoping someone can help me zero in on my specific model so I can figure the date of manufacture and be sure of the stop labels.

      Thanx, bob
