So, after some work with the scaling charts and fiddling about, it appears that what I have is in fact Gedect pipes. They have pierced caps but no chimnies....

Help with Roland Atelier Organs - Church organist

Whilst I was at it, I pulled out the 37 Principal pipes from storage. Part of the box they were in had collapsed and the C and C# were damaged beyond...

If space is an issue, consider building an organ of two ranks: 8' Bourdon and 4' Principal. The bourdon is a stopped rank and is only half length....
