I am new and trying to make a new post in the Classifieds. As soon as I try to enter information I am taken back to the forum posts. Any suggestions, and Yes I am signed in.

How can I post to the Classifieds? As soon as I make a selection or try to type in the field the options disappear.

You're clicking the Classifieds tab at the top of the page for this, right?

What browser and browser version are you using?

Hi. I'm a new member who wishes to post. I'm unable to find "topics." Could you please give me instructions on how to post? Thank you. Michael Lafferty

I don't see a "post new thread" button.

    Michael,

At the top of the page, you will see the What's New? | Forum | Gallery | FAQ | Classifieds. Click on the word "Forum", and you will see a list of Sub-Forums within the overall Organ Forum with different categories. Once you click on a category name, you will then see a link to + Post New Thread.

It makes no sense to post just any old question without categorizing it first. If you need help with that, please let me know. Alternately, you could just read this thread to figure it out. An example would be Admin's post on 12/5/2016 @9:23AM with the picture of the link under the Jeep advertisement (Post #9 below). There's not much I've said differently than he did. I just didn't include the pretty pictures.

Way too many organs to list, but I do have 5 Allens:
    • MOS-2 Model 505-B / ADC-4300-DK / ADC-5400 / ADC-6000 (Symphony) / ADC-8000DKC
    • Lowrey Heritage (DSO-1)
    • 9 Pump Organs, 1 Pipe Organ & 4 Pianos

What is missing or unclear in the instructions presented in this thread?

I'm signed in. I see my name at the top, and the option to Log Out, which means I'm logged in. I have not been inactive for more than 15 seconds at a time. Yet every time I try to post a Classified (I want to offer a pump organ for sale), I'm instantly taken to this page (which tells me how to do what I just did).

How do I escape this circular process?

I've had a couple of other reports of this nature (see posts #23 and #21 in this thread), but I've been unable to reproduce the problem and I've not had adequate responses from those reporting the problem to questions that would help me troubleshoot it.

Here's what I'd like to know in order to help you.

    1. What operating system are you using?
    2. Are you on a desktop or mobile device?
    3. What browser and version are you using?
    4. Are you using ad blocking software?
    5. Where are you clicking to navigate to the Classifieds page?
    6. Have you tried signing out then signing in again?
    7. Are you able to view the Classifieds page when you're not signed in?
    8. Are any related messages displayed when this occurs?
    9. After you are bounced back here, does the Classifieds page appear in your browser history?
    10. What protocol is displayed in your browser's address bar for this site, http: or https: ?
