1996 Holtkamp console for Church of the Covenant Skinner383 viewsThis is the console for the Skinner/Aeolian Skinner at Church of the Coveneant, the console is Holtkamp, the pistons for the combo action look exactly the same as those on the 1952 Holtkamp I have regular access to. this is a non traditional Holtkamp console, it is a very traditional console, but not for Holtkamp, a firm famed for their consoles which look, well, sort of strange.

Christ Church Rieger375 viewsThe console is a Rieger console recently rebuilt by Holtkamp because the computer brains for the stop action died, and when Holtkamp replaced the CPU brains, they also did away with the "arcade button" stop controls, replacing them with typical Holtkamp tabs, thus basically rendering the console a Holtkamp console. The actions are as follws, Mechanical key action electric stop action. The mess is not mine, the console is exactly as I found it, except for the open notebook on the music rack, that is mine, the rest of what you see is the organist's mess.

console284 viewsThis console is rather strange, it displays no builder's plate, not Holtkamp, not Hillgreen-Lane, Nothing! It is a very handsome console, but it tells nothing of the organ's history.
