Server Migration Completed
Today's migration to a new a server and a software security update have been successfully completed and the Forum, obviously, is back on line.

It does appear that some attachments did not make the move across servers, but that's not too surprising considering that the system hosts over 100,000 attachment images and thumbnails. They're certainly still on the old server, and I'll find a way to restore them here, but please be patient. It won't happen overnight.
Also currently missing are the fancy colored initial avatars that were generated by the old forum software. Again, rest assured these will return, but I would encourage you to upload your personal avatar image if you haven't already done so. An article on how to do this is in the FAQ.
Finally, as mentioned in the initial closure notice from the other day, the Gallery will be migrated at a future date. Again, your patience is requested.
As we are now in a new environment with a new software version, additional glitches are to be expected. If you encounter an issue, please either send me a private message, or, preferably post here.
