For my next feat.... I'm going to replace the up and down stop felts on my M3 project. I have replaced these on my A-100 but never on an M3. I can't seem to find any information in the forum threads. I would love to see video. Anyone?
I will make a video of the process.

I wasn't sure how to get to the felts. With the A-100 you start the process by taking off the top. The top is stationary on the m3.
Update* I found the manual removal process in a "Service Information Guide on the Model M2". I think I can figure it out from this. I will make a video or the work.

Hey sfp1954,
Thanks for all the info. I looked through the chassis removal procedure. I hope it takes less to get to the felts. I guess I could go ahead and install the fold back and tapering.
I feel like Alice... the rabbit hole just goes deeper and deeper.
I have thought more than once about making the top of my M3 removable like on an M-100. This would sure make service easier. (I think I will post this as a question to the forum)
