  • Cracking drawbars

    Hello, ive got a question.

On my L when I press a key and hold it and then change any drawbar (all the same), the tone changes and the tone keeps sounding but there is a cracking sound with it. This noise is only when the drawbar is moving it's position. What could this be and what can I do to fix this? Anyone had this problem?

    Thanks

There is always some noise when moving drawbars while holding keys. Cleaning the drawbar contacts will minimize it. Quick way is DeOxit sprayed into the back of the drawbar assembly. Hard way is to disassemble the drawbars and manually clean. Disassembly is not that east though.
