I'm busy chopping a L122 organ and was wondering what's the best way to remove the bass pedals?
Do I need to relocate any wires or other stuff, because the last thing I want is electrical damage...
Also are there any tubes or other things that may be removed after the bass pedals are removed?
The pedals are directly connected to the tone wheels then the output audio goes to the pedal drawbar through a filter choke. basically there's no "electronics" involved.
Even on organs with 6 voice percussion it's still just an audio signal from the pedals.
The pedals can be disconnected without affecting anything else.
There are no tubes involved that you can remove. You can remove the filter choke which is mounted on the keyboard assembly.
