I see you found an output but this is still too hot getting the signal from both GG, if this is what's seen.
Find someone to adapt this classic padded to line out level output and you'll be fine with all amps and effects inputs, other than balanced signal type Leslies and Tone Cabinets. You'll be skipping this cabinet then:
Your last thread ended with a strong "Niet!" on the idea of adding a stomp box. Let me just remind you that whatever box you chose it will mimic the "miced Leslie", i.e. you'll hear anything from the real cab, it won't move the sound in the air but will sound like PA.
On top, these are boxes for guitarists with foot controls etc. To your question - get the Boss if anything ...
I had a Fulltone DejaVibe2 and that was absolutely the best for me as far as guitars and Jimi tone are concerned. It has an unbelievable chorus, think Trower's Bridge of Sighs. So perhaps you should give a try with more that those two you've mentioned.
But if I was you, i'd save some money and get the real thing. Even now the C/V settings should sound great if healthy.
Cheers,
Boyan

I also like the RT-20. I use one with my BX3.

Using the cabinet is up to you. You may or may not use it at wish. I remember you're saying reverb is not working speakers are torn etc. so, may be, using it is not a good idea. When repaired, you could use it together but independently of the line out output to effects, other amps, mixers etc.
I have a M102 with Ao28/Leslie 22H amped 720/Hammond PR40/MS line out and they all work seamlessly together - first 3 with a 8000 kit, leslie and cabinet switchable on MEE, last one is always on for headset or line out. I can switch off the Lesslie and leave only the cabinet and what is on the line out.
If you cabinet is working you could tap that line out at his 5 pin socket which is supplying the same signal to another cabinet. The only problem will be you have more remotedly controlled devices, longer cabling etc.
So you may use the JR20 if you wish but not necessarily!
