  • The best deep sounding Hammond scanner circuit so far ??

    Hi guys,

I'm in a process of building a 'stand alone' Hammond scanner
using a real Hammond 16 taps rotary scanner and
a vibrato line delay made of caps and chokes.
Standard presets Vibrato 1,2,3 and Chorus 1,2,3 will still be used.
Browsing around the web I noticed that Hammond
had different Chorus/Vibrato circuitry schemes in the past.
For example The vibrato line boxes for:
    models M100, T200, M3 have 16 chokes
    models B3,C3, A100 have 18 chokes
models AV, BV, BCV, CV, DV, RT have 25 chokes
(Always using the same rotating scanner)

My question is what would be the best 'deep' sounding
type of circuit to use for my project.
So far I have 2 x M100 vibrato lines made of 16 chokes each
that I could put in series for 'lots' of possible configurations..

    Any ideas ?
    Thanks.

Just curious - you say it is to be a 'Stand-Alone", what are you going to drive the scanner with?
