Hammond M100 reverb problem

Hammond M100 reverb problem:
My m100 has an intermittent short on the reverb section ? sometimes it works for a few minutes then goes to a buzzing sound other times it just goes straight to buzzing? does it seem like a tube or maybe a resistor ? how could i track it down? thanks for any advice...Jim:-B

If the buzz sounds much like house current I'd suspect the power supply capacitors are going through their death throws. Could be reverb tank connections but I'm leaning towards caps. Simple job, can be done for very little money if you do it yourself.

There is a '62 M111 at one 'rehearsal' space that needs attention too......'motorboating' vib scanner and humming reverb tabs.
Reverb tabs stop making noise when I wiggle the 'rca' connectors and the 'verb comes back for a few minutes.
It no doubt needs caps too....however the 'rca' connectors are in need of replacement.
I would replace the 'rca' connectors first so the 'verb actually works.....then later for a few more $ recap the 'verb amp.
The other main issue with this '62 is #34 wire at TWG is intermittent, no doubt the organ was moved without locking down the tone generator.
Lost track of how many times #34 on an M is broken or intermittent. Most common problem IMO.

Yep all sounds familiar. I had the same on a '66 M102, broken #34 tone wire, bad reverb too. Had to clean the rca's then change them. Later I recapped the reverb amp when I pulled out the AO29 for a recap too.
