  • T Series Line Out - all options?

I've been using the headphone output on my T202, into a 40dB pad on a Tascam M-320 console for years.
Works well but a bit of noise and hum. Also I'm worried about stressing the T202's power amp and/or the M-320's input strip with the ~7.5v signal coming out of the headphone jack.

I've read many threads on line out options but I can't find a definitive answer.
I need the most clean as possible post-swell, post-reverb line out for a T202.
The voltage needs to be anywhere from ~50mv p-p to ~2v p-p. I need a voltage that can easily and safely be attenuated to ~150mv p-p for direct interface with guitar effects pedals.
Looking at the available schematics, pin 24 is depicted on some drawings as supplying the Tone Cabinet with ~1.2v p-p line output. On other drawings no p-p voltage is stated, and pin 24 is described as not connected.
Which description is correct for a T202?
Are there any other points for a clean line out?
Lastly, what is the best and safest way to disable the power amp output? - I don't necessarily need to kill the amp entirely, just disable the audio from the speakers.

    Thanks folks :)

You can search this out on the web.... you may need to add some electronic circuit but I do know that to do what you want, this is the spot to add a DI output.

You should check out the following thread on this forum:

Line in/out for T-series with a little Danish to Frank...?

Goes into all the details you need.

I take mine off the leslie's crossover circuit where I can control the highs and the lows post crossover in the mixer. It sounds good taking off the LESLIE for me but if you want to bypass the leslie's crossover, the swell pedal is the place. I built a little box for the pedal DI but found the leslie crossover worked for me and I abandoned the project.
