Hello all, I recently picked up a cherry- both in terms of condition and wood furniture-M-103. I inserted a loop off the hot side of C21 ceramic disc in the AO28 amplifier. I simply ran TS phone patch cables and split signal back to power side of AO28 and buffered effects inline with a small guitar amplifier. I thought jfet input dual opamp buffers for in/out using power rail existing in AO28 would be useful. Please let me know if you have implemented working FET-based buffers in-between the preamp/power as this sounds best for tube AO28. I also tapped the yellow wire in the external preamp box as suggested by twiggybush which is nice when assigning octave FX to the lower manual, although vibrato is disabled. BTW, I have field effect coil speakers and reverb. I think I read in the manual that an external passive speaker can be added. I have an 8 ohm single coil permanent magnet car sub I'd like to add to existing speakers. Lastly, I need to get the bass pedals working. I looked for loose wiring on unlocked, floating TWG, messed with the pot for pedal cutoff and swapped tubes for the pedal on the AO28. I can hear "mechanical switch" noise when touching pedals only through digital recorder with it's own preamp-no voicing. The pedal drawbar is smooth (no indents felt) in contrast to the sets of drawbars for both manuals.

Apologies and thank you for the correction, I mistakenly recalled the amp as an AO28. Many thanks for your knowledgeable response regarding the pedal drawbar. I think I can take a stab at using FET buffers, although I'm open to someone spelling it out for me. As for the external speaker, I'm not in a hurry and would love to hear from someone that has given it a go. I'm not sure where to go next with the bass pedals. I will try and chase signal from the tonewheel Thanks again for your help and support!:->. I'll be back to let you know if I isbbbñbññ

The bass pedals are now working after swapping the tube with a different kind. The original lit up and appeared to have vacuum but I have no way to test. I'll order a correct replacement. There was an impressive amount of dried-up oil all under the socket. Many thanks to you both for all your help!
