  • I need a road case for a 145

If I ever get my darn organ working I will need to move my Leslie 145 around. Anyone have a road case for sale? I am also looking for an organ dolly. I live in Kansas City.

      Hey cjfox,
Thanks for the lead. It's exactly what I am after. I sent them an email. I have family in the Seattle area that could pick the case up for me. You never know what might work out.

The guy in Seattle never contacted me back about my offer for his road case. The CL listing has been removed. He must have sold it. I guess I will build a case myself. Anyone ever do this? Any info will help.

I haven't built cases in a longtime. I figured it wasn't worth the my trouble time and the cost of materials combined.

I get my cases made for me.

If it is something that needs to be high quality I will have it made by Roadhawg.

If it is something that just needs to provide adequate protection and can be skimped on I will go with Island Cases / New York Case Company or get a Marathon Case for cheap through Amazon.

You are looking at $350 for a New York Case. How much beating will the cases take. Do you need real ATA quality. If so I would go with Roadhawg. The rivet job was so good on my last NY cheapie.

All the above option are better than what I would probably build myself. Between gigs and work I barely have enough time to get my yard mowed.

          But I suck with powertools.
