  • Leslie Pro Line 330 not turning on and I cannot figure out why

Hi, my uncle works in a scrapyard and found me a leslie pro line 330. everything seems good on the inside, it's not too dirty and everything seems intact and together. The speakers rotate with ease (if you move them manually) but I never had a pedal to use it with until yesterday I bought a Trek II UC-1A universal pre-amp pedal which SHOULD work with my cabinet. I have everything hooked up and nothing turns on or anything it just seems unresponsive and dead to be honest. If anyone can help it would be most appreciated. Thanks to anyone that can help, really!

Mike the 330 has its own power cable. Does yours have one? Just want to be sure since it was from a scrap yard.
You need to plug in the 330 and also plug in the TrekII universal preamp. Of course you also need the 11-pin cable. Make sure it is oriented the right way. Sometimes the center key guide can break off at the Leslie connector and then you have problems.
The on-off switch on the preamp will engage a connection between pins 5 and 6 which will then make the relay connection in the 330 which turns full power on to the Leslie.
11-pin Leslies usually have three separate power fuses. If it is similar to other 11-pin models like my 860, one is for the low voltage control switching circuit - which is always powered as soon as the Leslie is plugged in. Another fuse is for the Motor AC power, and a third is for the DC voltages for the amplifier. Make sure all three fuses are intact. Of course make sure the Leslie is not plugged in or connected to anything when checking this out.
See how all that looks first. Let us know.
Something else to keep in mind ... The original pedal allowed for fast, slow, or off. The Trek unit only has one speed switch so I am not sure what you get as far as speeds - I think you would get fast and slow.

Could you post some inside shots of your 330 Mike? Might help to determine if there's something missing or not...
