I hooked up my 2101 mk2 and used a stereo plug into 100 watt amp then connected to 2 pa cabs
I can hardly hear the bottom end even when it's cranked. What am I doing wrong and if I buy the 2121 bottom is this all it does. The 2101 mk2 sounds great I don't want 2 buy the 2121 if it does not do anything different than the pa cabs.

Hi Wayne, welcome to organforum.com I am not familiar with the 2101, I looked it up, it looks like it is just a modern Leslie horn section. At a glance, it looks like all of the connections are perhaps mono jacks. If you used a stereo plug, it probably wouldn't hurt. Which jack were you plugging it into?

1- Use a standard mono guitar cord. If you plugged a stereo cord into the left/mono LF channel you may have shorted the output.
You either want to use one mono cord plugged into the LF left/mono output or two mono chords plugged into the left and right LF output for stereo operation.
2- Make sure the low frequency rotary trim pot is not all the way down.
3- Make sure you are taking the output from the left most jack. Stationary and Rotary Bass Left/Mono output if you only have a single mono amp.

It should work great. I used a 2101 with 15" powered sub and it shook the whole room.

The Leslie 2101 mk2 has stereo outs they say to use a y cable for stereo I'm using 100 watt stereo pa amp. it just isn't loud. I will bridge it and try mono to see if there is a difference.

I have a dillema. I want to update my rig with a more portable Leslie. I am thinking 2101 MK2. How does this kit sound on its own? If is is too trebly, how about the Motion Sound pro 145? Any suggestions are appreciated.
