    Shipping a Trek II UC-1A combo preamp pedal

    I found someone who wants to sell his Trek II UC-1A, but he's in Chicago, I'm in Oregon. Any special considerations when shipping these? Is there anything delicate enough that a good packing job with peanuts and newspaper wouldn't protect?

    Nope, these are dead simple and built well!
    Nothing to do with shipping, but you may want to replace the foot switch as a preventative measure, some pedals shipped with poor quality switches but in general, they're not bullet proof and will eventually fail, especially for 120V applications.

      We have a number of these, and only one switch has failed. It's a 10A switch, which I was unable to find other than from Trek - It was quite pricey.
