    Thanks guys, it was the diodes. My baby is humming again!!!
    Couldn't have done it without your support - way out here in South Africa. The C3 is in excellent condition but of course quite useless without a well functioning Leslie.

    Just a thought, should I do a complete replacement of all components, such as capacitors, resistors etc...I've already received replacements for the tubes.
    Both the Hammond and Leslie date back to the 60's.

      It's a judgment call on parts replacement.

      Leslie amps are simple amps and are not dependent on exact component values, but some parts fail more than others. I have test equipment that allows me to verify components. Electrolytic capacitors should always be checked.

      Perhaps you could post a photo of the underside of your amp so we can take a look.
