I need to sell a Hammond B2 w/percussion and Leslie 21H. It looks well maintained and oiled, but it has not been used in at least a year. I need to power up and see where it is functionally. I am a novice in this area and would appreciate any advice.
Hoping for a range of price I might aim for, depending on condition? Thank you.
In Nashville, TN, from the flipper, about $5000-10000 for the organ and $800-1500 for the Leslie. Probably same in LA. A dealer might do some work to ensure perfection at those prices. Leslie lower than some because the big ones are hard to transport to the stage.
In country music only Alpine TX, or Ft Scott NB, about 1/3 of that. More In Finland.
city Hammond H-182 organ (2 ea),A100,10-82 TC, Wurlitzer 4500, Schober Recital Organ, Steinway 40" console , Sohmer 39" pianos, Ensoniq EPS, ; country Hammond H112
My 'late' B2 and 21H/JR20 was 1000 over 16 years ago. Vancouver BC Canada.
It is worth more now , added a TrekII perc (TP-2B), and worked on the amps.
Mine was not in playable condition when I got it . It started and ran but barely....
I'd estimate 1000 for a late B2/21H, less for an earlier B2 , both in good condition.
Near Buffalo, NY. I got it oiled and running - seems pretty good. I would say the case is in good condition, considering this organ moved around quite a bit early in life.
