  • Hammond RT3 and PR-40 in Budapest

Hi, I am located in Budapest, Hungary and have an RT3 organ and PR-40 tone cabinet. They were used in a small chapel, but have become too noisy and take up too much space in the small room, and so will be replaced with a digital organ. (apologies for the sacrilege...:embarrassed:)

I have attached pictures and will link to videos of the sound. (bear with me banging on the keys... I don't know how to play or how to configure the registers properly)

Although the organ works, I am aware that it needs repairs. I'm told it was last serviced a few years ago, some internals were replaced, parts were greased, and bass pedals were fixed. Now the pedals seem to only play one note (maybe I just don't know how to activate them correctly?) and I'm sure quite a few other internal parts would need attention to return to optimal playing state.

That said, in general it is in decent cosmetic condition as you can judge by the pictures.

I realize more detailed testing/information is probably needed to assess the value more accurately, but a general idea would be helpful to start out with.

I have also tried to determine what year it is from using this link, but it says that the attributes and serial numbers listed there are only for US models? Any insight as to this as well?

Thank you for your help. If you or anyone you know might be interested in acquiring it, don't hesitate to shoot me a message.

    -Justin
