1/4" line in on 147?

I acquired a leslie 147 at a nice price and upon closer inspection, I've noticed it had a 1/4" jack added to it. I'm not sure why...

Hi. I have a Leslie 910 connected to a Hammond M102 via a Dr Fishsticks switch. However, I am only getting a single speed, i.e. tremolo or off, no chorale....

I have been thinking about using the trek 1/4 " tap off coupled with a Dr Fishsticks Leslie connector/controller rig to run my M101 into my 145....
