  • Dave Brubeck's Organ

I saw this picture of Dave Brubeck's East Coast house and noticed the organ (which does not appear to be a Hammond).
Does anyone know what kind it is, or if he would have used it (or perhaps a family member)? It looks like the bench was used to hold beverages on the front right corner... maybe during parties? He did some classical composition. Perhaps he used it for that?Click image for larger version

Can't help my sleuthing, so...considering brand loyalty I found the Baldwin 48C to be a pretty much dead-on match visually.

Two grand pianos, one "contemporary console" piano, and an organ.

Was thinking it was a Rodgers but did not look at Baldwin. Yeah it's the 48C.

The upright raised up is for when Brubeck would play standing up. That was his Connecticut home.

Pure guess. Maybe Messrs. Baldwin supplied the two grands, upright and organ, such was Mr Brubeck's status?
It's not what you play. It's not how you play. It's the fact that you're playing that counts.
