CHECK ebay completed sales, where I live $200-400 If they sell, regional differences can be big, also is it working, in good condition and testable (you own an organ it will hook up to)will help.........good luck1956 M3, 51 Leslie Young Chang spinet, Korg Krome and Kronos

Both two channel. 710 is 9-pin, 720 is 11-pin. 710 has Rotosonic lower drum, 720 has 10" speaker facing into a conventional foam lower rotor. Both need a crossover kit installed for pseudo single channel operation.
710s have been cheap for a long time and a popular choice amongst Hammond players wanting a cheap leslie. The 720 seemingly less popular. When paired with the 540, it's a combo aimed at home organs with 3 or 4 channels of amplification. Sometimes sought after, often not. Probably not right to compare prices too closely
Over here, I don;t think you'd get the equivalent of your original asking price. It's not what you play. It's not how you play. It's the fact that you're playing that counts.

Wow...well based on what you guys are saying $1,500 is a way over charging?
But out in San Diego (not too far away from Los Angeles) they are charging about $1300 for just the 720.

So confused now...
But thanks all for the responses so far!

There are tips and trick of the trade of course but you where suggested to check ebay completed sales search...I assure you that speaker above will never sell this high alone if you see what I mean...Some current models new leslie cost this high.
Another experiment - visit the first pawn shop and ask money for what you have, that you'd be close to a real price.
Cheers,
Boyan

There is little demand over here in the UK, and values low but they are rare and finding them is very hard. I've just offered £100 for one and been told where to go think I upset them !!
They are great speakers though and as Andy has already said they have a proper lower rotor, would love to know why leslie did not use a rotosonic like the 710 model which predates the 720 by a few years.
